MARGARET BOWEN, a farmer and Welsh tutor with four children, strongly disagrees with the council's plans.

Mrs Bowen has already experienced the closure of the local school as her village, Llanfihangel-ar-arth, was part of a pilot in the Modernising Education scheme.
