Parents hit at council in schools upgrade row (Western Mail)

A COUNCIL committed to a campaign of school closures, mergers and upgrades has been accused of ignoring parentsopposed to the plans.

Carmarthenshire County Council's Modernising Education programme has split parental opinion with fears that more than 40 schools in the county will close under the scheme.
