Negeseuon o Gefnogaeth - Messages of Support

Fel rhiant sydd yn ymwybodol o’r gwerthoedd y mae Ysgolion llai eu maint yn hybu yn y gymuned, mae’n codi arswyd arnaf i feddwl bod nifer o’r Ysgolion hynny mewn perygl o ddiflannu.

Ysgolion cefn gwlad yw calon cymaint o bentrefi, yn Meithrin ac yn hybu y gwerthoedd hynny sydd yn hanfodol i unrhyw gymuned. Nid yn unig eu bod yn cynnig addysg gyflawn a chynhwysfawr i blant y gymuned, mae’r Ysgolion hynny yn ganolbwynt i gymaint o weithgareddau sydd yn tynnu trigolion pentre, trigolion o amrywiol gefndir, at ei gilydd er lles y gymuned honno.

Bob tro y mae ysgol fach leol yn cau, mae fel rhwygo’r galon o’r gymuned, felly rwy’n ymbil ar y Cynghorwyr i ystyried yn ddwys cyn gwneud penderfyniad terfynol.

As a parent who is aware of the values promoted by smaller sized schools in their communities, the thought of many such schools being in danger of being wiped away fills me with horror.

Rural schools are the heart of so many villages and promote those values that are essential in any community. Not only do they provide a wholesome and comprehensive education to the community's children, these schools are the focus for so many activities that pull village residents from different backgrounds together, united in their commitment to the community

Every time a small local school closes, the heart is ripped out of the community. I therefore beg the councillors to seriously consider before making a final decision.
