From the Carmel meeting

1. The following were elected as Forum Officers on Thursday 13 January 2005
   
   • Chairperson - Tony Stephens (Nantygroes)
   • Vice-chair - Ian Evans (Carwe)
   • Secretary - Ioan Hefin (Mynyddygarreg)
   • Treasurer - Tegid Dafis (Maesybont)
2. It was agreed that the aim of  the forum should be::

   "To safeguard and develop our village schools as centres for education and community development."

3. The officers will call a Central Committee meeting to organise the campaign.
   They will invite all threatened communities to elect a representative to attend the meeting.
4. The website www.cadwneinhysgolion.com
   Following this meeting, the website will be transfered from Cymdeithas yr Iaith to the Forum (c/o Ioan Hefin).
